PLEASE READ SUBMISSION DETAILS!!! The deadline for the first semester's submission is 11:59PM on December 31st, 2019 for written and visual submissions. Hyphen is open to ALL Temple University undergraduates - you must be a current Temple student to submit. NO LIMIT OF pieces (written and visual combined) per person. Each submission must be submitted separately and each must have a cover letter provided in the "Cover Letter/Biography" section complete with the following information: 1) Your name 2) Your temple email address (ie. tua, tub, or tuc standard email only - no names) 3) Your year of study Please note: DO NOT put your name on the work itself, as this ensures a fair assessment process. We WILL NOT REVIEW any submissions that have names on the work themselves. Also, we are implementing a new policy. If a written piece is accepted by Hyphen, the author will have a chance to make edits to the piece, after meeting with a team of our editors. A piece's acceptance will not be dependent on certain changes, and whether or not the author engages in this process will not affect the status of their submission. This is a new process that we are trying, in hopes of curating a wonderful magazine.
